When tarent took charge of our project, we were pleased that we were entrusting it to a professional, responsible, and trustworthy team. Over the course of four years, we have built and continuously developed our app and website in cooperation with tarent. At STABILO, we are eager to further expand our digital portfolio in the coming years. In support of this, tarent has assisted us with our Trend & Innovation Days and in developing the business model for the digital solutions that fit our brand’s core values. Our shared goal was to bring the most promising solution idea to life within four weeks in the form of an initial prototype, so that we could test it with our target groups as soon as possible. It was an ambitious goal, but the results are clear in that we delivered and selected the ideas while tarent built the prototype as part of the Digital Kickoff process. We now want to develop our selected solution further until it is ready to market. Collaboratively bringing a digital product idea to life in such a short time was exciting and labor-intensive, but we all really enjoyed it.
In the context of its Digital Kickoff, tarent gave us a clear view of how we can replace our existing large-scale IT system with a modern in-house development and what benefits this will bring for us. We are therefore not only able to identify potential savings for the future but also know how to map out further IoT use cases within the new system. We are now highly certain about the various steps required, which are now predictable for us. In addition to its team’s technical expertise, tarent also won us over on a methodological level with its high degree of consulting expertise. Thanks to the agile and transparent approach taken, we were able to give feedback at all times and make adjustments. As a result, the end product is 100% tailored to our use case.
In the context of our Smart Building projects, tarent is supporting us on the integration of the various sensors and gateways involved in our “Building Connectivity 4.0” product. tarent is assisting us not just in the selection of those items but also ensuring that – irrespective of the sensor and vendor involved – data is transmitted securely from the sensor to the database and stored in an easy-to-process format. As a result, our clients can implement almost all applications via a single set of gateway infrastructure, whether the recording and billing of heating costs are involved, the maintenance of smoke detectors, or sensor-based support of janitorial and building management systems. We particularly appreciate the fact that our tarent colleagues deliver highly professional and independent support across the entire data process, from the sensor to the cloud, always work very quickly, and also provide us with optimal advice about other partners. We are therefore involving tarent in many important decision-making processes and have the utmost confidence in its team.
In its work on the GEPRIS Historic project, tarent is providing us with results of the highest quality. Even when requirements change, the members of the tarent team understand all aspects of the project and develop high-quality solutions within a short timescale. What’s more, tarent always provides open and honest advice involving objective and goal-oriented analyses.
As part of our proof of concept, we worked with tarent on the goal of automating the way we capture vehicle registration documents (authorization certificates) and enhancing data quality. The result? We’ve been able to reduce processing time from 1-2 minutes to 30 seconds and the error rate from around 20% to 5% – with a total volume of approx. 100,000 letters. All in all, the colleagues from tarent implemented the project very quickly and professionally – and showed real passion for their work.
As a provider of software solutions in the field of user-friendly and secure email and collaboration software, Open-Xchange has been working with tarent since 2014. tarent has thereby moved from being a service provider to becoming our partner. As part of the client projects completed during that period, the tarent colleagues worked with us to develop customized software as well as interfaces from our OX App Suite base platform to our clients’ internal systems. To facilitate this, a solid team with deep system-specific knowledge has been established at tarent over the years. Supported by a trusting relationship, which we’ve developed over many years of positive cooperation, we are happy to draw on tarent’s expertise. This enables us to ensure that our clients’ projects are integrated rapidly and smoothly at all times.
Based on a great deal of information and discussions, the colleagues at tarent came up with highly efficient recommendations for action as regards our digitization strategy in the course of an audit. These recommendations are enabling us to efficiently standardize the number of systems and tools we use. As a result, this is likely to have a very positive effect as regards our goal of reducing the amount of manual work needed. We are excited about optimizing our data warehouse and BI system on the basis of the audit results. In addition to the excellent results achieved, we have profited greatly from the tarent’s speedy, professional, and confident approach. On a human level, our collaboration has been based on trust and a relationship of equals.
In tarent – and Corinna Voß and Kaya Raue in particular – we have found a constantly committed, proactive, and mentally challenging partner. As the newly founded innovation center for the well-known dog food brands Josera and Green Petfood, we have benefited greatly from tarent’s exciting and effective workshops on agile working and design thinking. In addition to Corinna’s strong methodological knowledge, we were able to benefit especially from her empathy and her ability to put herself in our shoes. With her calm and thoughtful manner, she mastered the process of facilitating the workshops confidently and is still available to us now – long after the workshops – as a skilled “sparring partner” for subsequent questions over the phone. Based on our positive experience with tarent, we have also shortlisted the organization for any future projects in its various areas of expertise.

As part of a highly professional and agile collaboration with tarent, we have developed an IoT platform based on Cumulocity. On the platform, we use dashboards, widgets, streaming analytic engines, and microservices to process, store, and visualize data – such as the amount of solar energy generated by the TRAILAR smart controller system. This enables us to make the value added by our product visible to our customers. The tarent team stood out for its ability to help us to initiate development in a highly flexible and rapid way. The members of the team are involved in every phase and we’ve enjoyed working with them so much that we’ve already spent a couple of evenings out together at a pizzeria or brewery. It almost feels like tarent is an integral part of the TRAILAR team.
Around 130 of our managers and employees took part in the “Agile Management” and “Agile Working with Scrum and Kanban” workshops delivered by tarent. As a result, we have not only significantly improved the way we communicate with and view one another but also enhanced the quality of our results. tarent won us over both professionally – thanks to its team members’ high-level skills and long-term support – and on a human level, in terms of their great empathy and personality. For some people, the workshop, conducted in a great atmosphere, was one of the best they had ever attended.
